Ishigaki is the largest of the Yaeyama Islands in the south of the Okinawa archipelago. This tropical, remote island was one of the highlight of our month in Japan. Here's why.

At the end of our month in Japan, we left the cities and headed to the beaches of Okinawa for a week. We spent the first four nights in the northern part of Okinawa Honto (the main island), in Motobu. These were the highlights.
